I've got to give the Europeans credit. In Europe they are crazy about traditional country music and here's more proof. Case in point is the eight CD from "Hermann the German". Hermann Lammers Meyer's "Waltz of the Wind" is as country as anything you can find on the US charts nowadays. If you like traditional country music you'll love this CD. There's 16 songs with some covers by Willie, Bill Anderson, Roger Miller and George Jones. Hermann has some really great songs penned for this CD including the one on the page "(Take Some) Time Off". News that just came in: GACMF German American Country Music Federation. Last Sunday, March 19 the eight Awards Gala Show was held at the Congress Center in Chemnitz, Germany. The winner of the Duet Of The Year is Hermann Lammers Meyer with Nashville Legend Billy Walker singing the Willie Nelson song "I Just Don't Understand". In addition Hermann Hermann has also received the ICMAG, Indenpendent Country Music Association Germany Pioneer Of Country Music and the Legend Of Country Music awards this year. Great listening from across the big pond. You can visit Hermann at:
