Imagine the girl next door; pretty and talented with a fantastic voice and you're
imagining Sara Simms, Southern Sweetheart. In her first CD "To Be Continued..." she shows a quality
of vocal maturity that is surprizing given the fact that she is less than 20 years old. The CD is well-paced, and although sounding a bit newer than some traditionalists
would prefer, still is not too driving to ruin the spell Sara's beautiful voice casts. Haunting ballads like "I Already Do"
and "Throwing Away Love" made Mule Dog's search through the CD well worth it. For those that do like
a more current and commercial mix there is plenty of that too. Sara has some good New Country up tempo
numbers and does some nice covers of "If You're Not In It For Love", "Blue" and the classic "Unchained Melody".
The CD sounds very good with a fine job of recording and mixing done at Cham Laughlin's Recording Studio.
